Jennifer holds a PhD in Media Studies from Western University and has extensive experience integrating technology into teaching and learning. As an Educational Developer in the Centre for Academic Excellence, her main focus is the development and support of technology-enhanced learning initiatives at Niagara College. She is involved in a number of technology-enhanced learning initiatives including learning management system training, workshop development, and project managing the development of online and hybrid courses. Jennifer is also an award-winning teacher who has engaged students using face-to-face, hybrid, and fully online course delivery in topics ranging from digital communication and identity to video games and virtual worlds. She is currently acting as a project manager for a multi-institutional, eCampus-funded initiative to develop open content modules that support student preparedness for work integrated learning (WIL).
