Jeff Griffiths is a seasoned organizational development consultant who specializes in individual and collective competency and the link to organizational performance. He has written extensively on competency and skills, and the ways that organizations can identify, articulate, acquire, nurture and develop them for the benefit of all. Both his consulting practice and applied research delve into competency frameworks, and how they can be used as effective tools for organizational development to create thriving, resilient, learning organizations. Jeff’s pathway spans over a quarter century of learning and application through a varied career in the Canadian military, the private sector and as an independent consultant. One constant that he’s discovered over his career is that the “alpha and omega” of organizational performance is individual and collective competency. Jeff is a Certified Management Consultant and a Fellow of the Institute of Certified Management Consultants of Alberta (CMC info), a Fellow of the UK-based Royal Society for the Encouragement of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce (the RSA) a Certified Training and Development Professional and member of the Institute for Performance and Learning (CTDP info ), and a member of the Canadian Vocational Association.
