Dr. Audrey J. Penner is Vice President Academic and Student Success at Northern College, responsible for academic planning, policy and procedures at Northern College, including applied research. Prior to coming to Northern, Dr. Penner managed a large directorate with responsibilities for policies and operational needs of applied research; curriculum and instructional development; adult education; language training for Newcomers to Canada; library services; assessment services; and integration of the education enhanced technology pedagogically and technially. She has been an adjunct professor at the University of Prince Edward Island, where she lead several cohorts of Masters of Education in Leadership and Learning, specific to College needs and technology enhanced learning. She has been a member of the Ontario provincial task force to review flexible delivery models and quality assurance in the Ontario College system. She is currently co-chair of the College Committee of Vice Presidents Academic for Colleges Ontario and is a director on the eCampus Ontario Board. She co-chairs the Northern College Collaborative Program project, as well as having co-chaired the Northern Institutions Pathway Steering Committee.
