Sean Simpson, Vice President of Ipsos Public Affairs in Canada, has been with Ipsos for over 10 years. He leads its public-opinion polling business, specializing in political behaviour, reputation, social trends, higher education research and issues management. His clients range from NGOs and not-for-profits to multi-national corporations. Sean has a Bachelor and Master’s degree in Political Science from Wilfrid Laurier University. For the past three summers, Sean has been an instructor at the Laurier Summer Institute for Research Methods, teaching crash courses sampling and questionnaire design. Sean is a primary media spokesperson for Ipsos and is regularly featured in the media, particularly with Ipsos’ media partner Global News, commenting on political and social issues of the day. Sean lives in Kitchener with his wife Amie, where he is also a church organist and an avid supporter of the arts.
